Beneath the Light (2025)
dir John Baumgartner

Not sure if this is a good film yet or not but I love the dialog and interaction between the two main characters. Combative while cooperative. Plus it takes place in an isolated lighthouse.

I'm a sucker for a good silhouette.

The Decedent (2025)
dir Andrew Bowser

Struggled to make this film about a mortician processing the body of a serial killer possessed by a demon into an Xmas flick until I realized the yearly kill counts add up to 12 and 25 so... Merry Christmas!

Black Swan (2010)

A Darren Double. Never really understood the dying for perfection thing. An infinite number at 90% seems more achievable to me and less... dead.

A Bay of Blood (1971)
dir Mario Bava

The murder of a wealthy countess triggers a chain reaction of brutal killings. One of my favorite Bava flicks. The first two Friday the 13th films pay homage to this film.

Queens of the Dead (2025)
dir Tina Romero

Fully expecting Tina to stick with the slow moving Romero ghouls instead of the cardio friendly 28 Days Later zombies but I believe there's room in the genre for jogging zombies - hungry but damn running is work, amirite?

Anna and the Apocalypse (2018)

Singing about "a love never ending" in a zombie musical seems risky. Just my humble opinion.

The Creep Tapes series is refreshing. I'd hoped after the first two films we'd see continued installments but to get a series is more than I'd ever hoped for. More please!

A lonely waitress living in a remote motel develops an unusual relationship with a mysterious man.
