Honestly me & the SO have been rediscovering old arcade games via mame for the past three weekends. Got an x-arcade tankstick and having the best time. We’re going through the list and on C now. The only micro transactions is a credit push away, no battle passes no real sys requirements. Just fun.

I imagine this is what it was like living in the dark ages as a person who questioned the church and believed maybe we revolve around the sun and perhaps we’re not the center of the galaxy.

In the 60s the sunset strip curfew “riots” happened. a bunch of people were pissed that kids were going to rock roll bars & clogging the roads. They peacefully protested until what appeared to be a minor fender bender happened and over 150 cops instantly started beating the crap out of them.

I saw an ad on YouTube within the first 3 seconds had swearing from an AI women trying to sell me special honey so I could f the hell out of my wife. It took me to a website that had a deep faked Sydney Sweeney telling me all about said honey, as hardcore ai porn was playing. YT is a hypocrite.

Not to mention the actors, writers, camera, lighting, directors, audio, graphics, drivers, catering (list can go on) who lost the part to a data centers and a person telling a program what to make. But they still want us to buy overpriced gray meat to eat while employees don’t make enough for rent.

It’s important to understand how much electricity this takes for data centers to render these out. How much water it takes to cool these data centers and how hard communities suffer from bad water so McDonald’s can make an ad. People suffer so we can be advertised to is so wild in 2025.

SoundCloud is still an option. So does buying mp3s instead of subscribing to them. The more you cancel a subscription the more power we have to stop this.
