Butcher by trade, hat and blanket maker by compulsion. Occasionally on Destiny 2 (xbox), semi-decent pool player. Dm me if you need a shooting partner or want to pick up the hobby and are in Denver.
If martial law comes on, civil disobedience will be the least of their problems.

Numbers don't favor them, even right now. Each day, more of the apathetic are getting closer to involvement. If scotus and elected reps in DC have half a brain, they'll put the dogs back in the kennel within the next month or two.

At this point, civil disobedience ought to be the minimum. Anything up to actively instigating harm toward another person in anything but self defense should be on the table, and personally, I'll be looking out for when blocking roads becomes the norm. It's time to put a stop to this.

I love indivisible and the work they've done. I wholeheartedly disagree that this is still the time for vocally dissuading the use of civil disobedience. Leadership needs to consider the last year and the beginning of this one with it's due severity.

Nope. With this nonsense, and the Greenland noise, we're already there.

If God is listening; Trump will be bigger headlines, but I'm certain Miller, Vought, Musk, Bezos, or anyone behind the curtain at Boeing/ Lockheed would save more lives. Just saying.

If I don't get hit by oncoming traffic before 40, I'll be in complete shambles. 2 and a half years left

BOOSH!

I'm not kidding when I say that if Mamdani held the same values, gave the same speech, and ran republican, I'd vote for him. I'm over the games. We're watching neighbors get disappeared by the federal gov. I don't consider this a win for dems, so much as a win for anyone with a conscience and brain.

Man, I'll die waiting for the day when we get past the point of talking about this stuff with the energy of it being team sports. I understand a candidate needing to go under the tent to get elected, and I fucking hate it. We need more class consciousness. We need more equity. Less out groups.

FUCK YES. Ms Khan was one of our strongest allies in DC while she was there. She will be fantastic.

Though, Booker and his half ass, way too late, endorsement of Mamdani in an effort to save a little face was a funny little reminder more recently

They'll occasionally do better on social issues and small steps toward equity, but they've got just as much to lose as right wingers when we develop proper class consciousness. For evidence of this, I needed nothing more than their treatment of Sanders and Cortez over the last several years

Agree and disagree, at the moment. They've failed us just as badly in terms of reigning in things like corporate personhood, they're likely to have let Israel continue a genocide, and they've done nothing in terms of prisons being run for profit and the results of that.

It could be, but let's not pretend Dems haven't been complicit. There was far too much support from both parties on the signing of the Laiken Riley act, and decades of behavior prior for me to feel otherwise. I'm well past the "lesser of two evils" part of my life. We need to be better.

With this sort of leverage, yall ought to be clawing back the abhorrent amount of money that got allocated to ice, as well. Too bad our leadership, largely, are cowards, and still in the pocket of corporation.

At 37, with things as bleak as they are, some days outliving these monsters is my only goal. Today is a good day.
