Never did I think the most important skill I’d use daily would be checking and finding primary sources… I owe a lot of teachers an apology. Between that skill and critical thinking, you can start to combat misinformation and propaganda.

It’s important that no matter what media you consume you dissect that information and draw out the biases, the view point, and separate the facts.
Critical thinking is the only way to cut through the bull from mainstream media and help to contextualize independent media.

This father is right, a mental disorder is involved, but it’s not his daughter’s who’re having the issue. He is. He’s bought into something so hard he can’t see reality from the lies.
This is why getting through to maga is so hard. People on both sides becomes so entrenched.

And last, if someone is going to use the excuse of “stopping drugs” to murder people, then go and pardon a notorious drug trafficking boss, they kind of undermine their whole argument. Either they lied or they’re so corrupt pardons are for sale or both…

Here’s another observation, people can literally check in real time when someone is lying about cost of living, because unlike some extremely wealthy individuals, we all do our grocery shopping and have to deal with bills, and expenses etc.
