It may be Christmas Eve, but it’s also the late, great Lemmy’s 80th birthday! As is tradition, I will be listening to a mix of Motörhead and The Head Cat today as I prepare for the evening’s festivities, because (as always) we do it for Lemmy 🫡

Showing my daughter some positive female influences in music, and she’s become enamored with Paramore and CHVRCHES. She likes to watch live performances of Hayley and Lauren respectively, and she pretends she has a microphone and “sings” along with them, and it’s so damn adorable.

December 1st, 1973 Black Sabbath released their 5th studio album “Sabbath Bloody Sabbath,” featuring artwork by LA artist Drew Struzan. The album features the hits “A National Acrobat,” “Spiral Architect,” and the first single sharing the same name which was later covered by Anthrax 🤘🏻

Arch Enemy has reportedly parted ways with front-woman Alyssa White-Gluz. Alyssa has fronted the band since 2014. So far the split seems to be amicable, with White-Gluz releasing a statement saying that she enjoyed her time with the band.
