And with the year that Merc has had it’s not inconceivable to lay the blame at their door. That may be me trying to not recognise Lewis’ mistakes but I’m not mad at that considering some of the stuff we have seen from them this year

There are so many factors besides driver ability that go into the performance we see on track. So many processes that need to be in check to make sure everything goes well. So when we have a record of a drivers ability, it’s not far fetched to think something else may have been amiss.

It’s people not wanting to see that Merc has treated Lewis quite poorly this entire year. I think the fatigue and frustration is a result of this. The bad car is annoying. But the fact that the car is bad because of reasons other than the usual incompetence is what’s soul sucking imo

I genuinely think it’s a thing of them thinking “oh we’re stepping into cultlh territory now” and are scared that even bringing it up will put them in an unfavorable light with non-teamlh fans. Bringing their credibility into question.
