Played some BattleTech Classic for the first in a long while, and I forgot how whacky things start to fall apart.
PHX pilot failed consciousness, woke up next turn, got a leg atomized in a crit, destroyed the other in the fall, and immediately went unconscious again. Such is life.

Yesterday was the 18th anniversary of Halo 3, so me and a few of my best friends spent a few hours blasting through a chunk of the campaign.
Despite my internet issues, it made me remember how much I really love and missed this game.

Still moving stuff to the new place and unpacking, but I took a moment last night to plug in the TV, plug in my PS2, and pop a game in for 30 minutes. Sitting in the half lit basement in a well loved recliner, I was suddenly 13 again.

Picked up a copy of THPS 3+4 today.
I'm trying to be less of a sentimental old man, but these games really did define my taste in music, and cemented skating in my mind as, as the kids say, sick as hell.
