Central Texan, joined here after No Kings. Vacillatin wildly between despair & hope. Here to learn. Defend the Constitution - it ain’t gonna uphold itself, y’all.
People who ain’t acquainted with the man truly don’t understand just how vicious & awful a human bein Greg Abbott is.

Sees the world as “us & them” & ain’t nobody colder or meaner to anybody who’s “them.”

He don’t turn a blind eye to the harm he done, he watches & glories in causin sufferin.

YES. I’m of the opinion that No Kings made it real obvious not just how many showed up, but how few *counter-protesters* did.
In Texas, used to be drivin around you’d have you a fair number of Trump trucks, flags, MAGA gear vehicles all fired up & fulla piss & vinegar.
Ain’t seen a one today.

I’m curious, myself. What was the tippin point? My guess is for most people it’ll be when they was directly affected.

“Either we’re gonna take away everyone’s healthcare or just women, whatcha think?”

Divide & conquer, huh?

Heh, you got you a decent point, there.

Either way, I do take comfort in knowin more’n half the voters went to the polls and DIDN’T pick him.

But I got to think on this a bit. I liked the man’s point about checkin the numbers, but we always the weakest when somebody tellin us what we wanna hear.
