The lesson here is don't just be non-violent but non-violent in an absurd way. This makes it clear that whenever the regime's foot soldiers get violent, it's clearly because THEY are escalating for the sake of escalating.
They hate the Affordable Care Act for two reasons: 1) It's helpful to poor people, and most importantly, 2) It's the signature legislation passed by Obama, a black guy.
It would also completely piss Trump off if he’s actually coherent. He doesn’t want anyone thinking someone is in charge of him. It might actually have Trump force him out.
