I think it’s sad how their actions (Spyglass) put such a weird energy out in the fandom. I hope we can come back from it when they’re gone.

In my view, the talent (actors, directors, writers) & crew of the franchise didn’t do what happened to Melissa. And they all are why the fans show up, love, & support the franchise. IMO, they are what Scream is. Not some far removed as-hole execute(s) who truly suck for what they did.

For me personally, I just feel Scream & its 30 year legacy in film is so much bigger than Spyglass, an entity that has only had its rights since 2019. I hope they sell the rights as well.

I’ve felt that way ever since they refused to pay Neve her worth for S6– Even then I still wanted to support.

I hate what happened to Melissa & feel her firing was 100% unjust. She’s incredible & will always be part of Scream.

And I understand anyone not wanting to support a Spyglass project due to that. Protest with our dollars a lot of times speak the loudest, IMO. I’ll always support peaceful protest.

I hope we see Sam & Tara again one day!

I’m still very excited to see Sidney’s next chapter too though! Especially with Kevin directing. 🖤
