The UK should now make it clear it will not, going forward, automatically fight alongside American personnel or help out in other conflicts where America has an interest while Trump serves, and that should include the immediate cessation of RAF reconnaissance flights over Gaza.

The nauseating hypocrisy of this from
the Telegraph, formerly the great champion of Trump and Brexit, the fanatical enemy of Europe and everything it represents. What this newspaper should do — but never will — is apologise to the country and to Europe for the damage it has done.

The Tories once understood we couldn’t just stop the world and get off. They understood what the EU flag represented and that we should take pride in it. Here it is emblazoned on the backdrop to their ill-fated 1984 Brighton conference under Margaret Thatcher.

There’s a limit to how much the global elitist Farage — arriving in Davos in his private jet — can bullshit even the Daily Mail. Two headlines from today’s paper.

The Murdoch press report on Trump like he’s just another President. He isn’t.
January 21, 2026 at 10:51 PM
We seriously don’t want to keep kneeling before this president.

Meanwhile Starmer still clings to the idea of ‘the special relationship,’ like a jilted and much-abused lover.

Why is treachery becoming normalised?

What Labour emphatically doesn’t need is Morgan McSweeney.

If the plan isn’t to bin Brexit, it’s not going to cut the cost of living.

In one image, Starmer’s relationship with Trump.

What would be so awful about investing in flesh and blood?
December 30, 2025 at 9:12 AM
America doesn’t care about Europe any
more and it’s left it to Russia as it draws up a new autocratic world order with it and China. Breaking Europe apart with scams like Brexit was the prelude to that. Labour won’t be forgiven for not pushing to mend fences with Europe earlier.

Brexit’s natural home is the Museum of Failure.

⚰️ Of course a great many of them won’t be able to do that on account of now being long dead.

A privilege to present the New Journalist of the Year award to Malak A Tantesh, whose courage reporting on the reality of Gaza shames so many ‘journalists’ who put out the official Israeli version from the comfort of their offices in London. A unanimous decision by the judges. @pressgazette.co.uk

Brexit.

Ever wondered what a Russian asset would sound like?
December 10, 2025 at 6:36 AM
After so unctuously praising Trump for his ‘peace deal,’ it’s time Starmer plucked up the courage to talk about what has ensued.
December 4, 2025 at 11:22 PM
An interesting paragraph in the FT tomorrow and tomorrow’s Daily Farage…
December 4, 2025 at 11:04 PM
The broader point is do Farage’s racist supporters care he’s been shown to be a racist?
