I have a backlog of about 100 games, counting what I own and intend to play through (and a couple replays). The problem is I mostly play RPGs so not many short games.

Me: Points out how you condescend while avoiding the point you've missed (whether on purpose or through comprehension).

You: Continue to avoid the point to come back a day later just to tell me how little time I'm worth.

It was my 2023 GOTY! I'd love to see more people enjoy it and hopefully get another entry.

It's hilarious how condescending you are when avoiding that I've already addressed this multiple times by saying the issue is trying to blame Biden for the damage, not that Biden somehow caused the fire to start in the first place.

Water shortage was reportedly caused by 4x normal demand for 15 hours straight & fema went a couple years with less funding due to congress, even after Biden pushed for more. The misinformation is that these are things Biden caused as opposed to local issues or people in Congress that opposed funds.
January 13, 2025 at 6:11 PM
This didn't even have anything to do with absolutes and the one that was so fixated on the idea of blaming the fire that they either missed or ignored the point of pinning the damages on the current president, was the person that understood nuance? Riiiight
January 13, 2025 at 6:04 PM
You're nitpicking it as the claim being the wildfire itself, rather than the damage, being Biden's fault to obscure the point being Trump is trying to pin the damage on Biden using misinformation and wouldn't accept the same responsibility for things happening during his term.
January 13, 2025 at 5:50 PM
And you switched up your position to defend the position of a guy relying on misinformation about fema and blaming Biden for the water shortage from extreme demands and who wanted to determine his response to disasters based on who voted for him, but your critical thinking is on point.
January 13, 2025 at 5:40 PM
So I would think, with superior critical thinking, you'd have been able to tell that the original point here was just that blaming Biden for this current fire was stupid, and hypocritical, considering the wildfires that also happened during Trump's time in office.
January 13, 2025 at 5:32 PM
So, at what level of damage and death does it make sense to just say it's the current president's fault and ignore any longer term climate implications? Or was the relative level of damage just the best 'gotcha' you could muster up with your superior critical thinking?

The August Complex fire, which OP specifically cited by name, happened in August of 2020, when Trump was in office.

Metaphor ReFantazio may just be one of my favorite games of all time, joining other games I hold up as just being special, like Chrono Cross, Final Fantasy 9, and Mass Effect 2. I had a great year of gaming in 2024, between backlog games, replays, and some great new games.

In my last replay my entire party were OP, but only Terra and her five ultimas in a row were needed.

I've known I liked primarily turn-based RPGs most of my life and am still drowning in games I want to play through. Probably because so many are 50 or even 100+ hour games.

This is pretty much my only plan for the weekend.

Got the same notice just a little while ago!

Personally, P3R is my best OST for the year.

Final Fantasy 9 is by far my favorite, still holding out hope for a faithful remake announcement.
