this makes sense for quick actions you laid out yourself and that you use frequently, but would make an options menu way way less navigable.

it was made law in the UK recently, which is when a lot of this stuff started afaik. would make sense to me that as london is a global financial hub that a lot of these companies are jumping the gun on these requirements (and not complaining because more forced data collection means more money!)
