To be honest, when AI started and it was based on the anime aesthetic, i kind of liked it because it got it mostly right. But now a lot of AI art gives me "political cartoon" vibes and its very ugly

many games "age well" because of nostalgia and the fact that we played them at the time. sometimes an old looking game just doesnt feel nice. i.e. I just tried playing BattleTech from 2018, it had the aesthetics of a late ps2 era game and felt bad because of it.
