When we are idle, our minds are prone to ruminate and become anxious.

When we are engaged, our attention is focused and are minds calm.

Like fireflies, we transmit "friend" and "foe" signals, or keep our "transmitters" completely off.

Sometimes, we don't even know if we are transmitting "friend" or "foe" signals - causing confusion.

That might be because we lack the necessary self-awareness, which is a skill like any other.

If we are feeling "stress" (headaches, muscle tension, fatigue, anxiety, irritability, etc), our bodies are alerting us about potential challenges, that we will have to face and solve, in the end.

Imagine a historian in the year of 2126 writing about the early 21st century. What would he find unique about our era? What would he find in common with his own era?
