You won’t like this but as GM of the Brewers, Stearns had 7 playoff wins in 8 years. His team made the playoffs 4 times playing in one of the weakest divisions in baseball. In the 5 playoff matchups they were in during that time, they got swept twice and lost another 3-1.

Cohen bought the team and we thought we were finally saved. and then he rehired Alderson and that didn’t work out. and then he hired Eppler and that didn’t work out. and then he hired Stearns and after a disastrous ‘25 & with Diaz & Alonso leaving Stearns just put himself on the clock. tick tick

That was a frustrating game to watch. Wilson looked an awful lot like Daniel Jones looked like last year. With the rough schedule this year is gonna be painful.
