I’m real pleased with how this turned out even if it took me three days to work on! Key takeaways:

1. Lasso Fill does wonders for coloring, layers too
2. Background was made by scratch, a combo or tracing freehand and a ruler. Bricks took a long time
3. I’ll practice shading next time

My intent was a dog character… like I like how it turned out but I’m not so sure about the ears. Trying to get the ears to match the curly hair… may come back to this later.

Today’s attempt at drawing

Yesterday was my first attempt. Started on a whiteboard app before switching to Ibis Paint. This feels embarrassing but I’m also pleased with the result since I always thought I wasn’t any good.

Haven’t drawn in 20+ years. This will document my progress as I dabble with tablet drawing. Let’s see how far I can take this!
