Yeah, later in life I realized she didn't coin that phrase, but as a kid and a teen she was brilliant, well she was brilliant anyway to be fair.

For some reason this reminds me of when I was a kid and my friends and I would stay out playing until it was too dark to see. I guess kids don't do that any more.

I have only a vague guess at what this might be but my grandmother always said, "Keep you're mouth shut and be thought a fool, or open it and remove all doubt". Words to live by.

It'll be a year next month that I joined. I try to post one photo a day, not always but that's the goal. The last hashtag on my posts, the 'P' plus a number doesn't mean anything, it's just a way for me to see how many photos I've posted. As of yesterday I've posted 313 photos.

It should work for you. Make sure you are using just one word like "streetphotography" and not "street photography". In the latter case only "street" will be blue, so #streetphotography should turn blue and become a link. Nice photo of the woman crossing the street by the way.

They're used when doing searches to narrow your searches down to only subjects that interest you. For me it's various forms of photography and it weeds out all the other topics that don't interest me. In my photos I try to include hashtags I think others may search for related to that photo.

There are still abandoned houses and buildings everywhere in the country. Broken down houses are usually on country back roads. I seek these places out because they have way more character than the run of the mill houses and buildings. If you scroll down you'll see more places similar to this.
