If I became a politician I'd ban digital currencies in video games and force them to transact in $.

Did you know?

The `init` property accessor for C# was created so that British programmers could ask if an API is a property or not. Example:

"This is a property, init?"

A quick 20 minute meal from tonight with a recipe picked up off social media. A reminder that the internet and social media can be a positive in a lot of small ways. Saved me money on the week as well.

I don't think I've ever seen a forward come into the league and be so good defensively as Celebrini has been - and that's with still putting up near PPG offensive production.

This kid is beyond the real deal.

Just saw a post about this but if you're struggling with recipe websites giving you their life story of how their nonna created the recipe:

Just click the print recipe button. In 99% of cases this will give you exactly what you want on a nice easy to read page.

Learned something interesting about Capybara today. If you have a CSS class upcasing your text and you try to find the text in a case insensitive way, it will fail. Despite the fact that the DOM will have “text” in it and you’re searching for “text”. It somehow knows the CSS has upcased it. Bizarre.

Arcane's depiction of brotherly love and the depth and complexity of (what I view as) a platonic relationship between Jayce and Viktor is absolutely incredible. Very rarely in media is masculinity shown in such a dynamic and positive way without toxicity.

Phoenix is such a breath of fresh air after a decade of JavaScript frameworks tripping over themselves and each other, dragging the web down with them.

Do people in the online TTRPG space (probably specifically DnD but not sold on that yet) have lists of issues they have with current online platforms? (ie. Roll20, Foundry, etc). I've been building a tool for use in my own games but I'm curious if there are any common complaints I'm not addressing

It isn’t necessarily my favourite show of all time, but Arcane might be the best series I’ve ever watched. Animation, music and sound design, storytelling, all nearly flawless. Absolutely incredible how every frame oozes the passion of those who created it.
