Thinking about it, all our recipes come from print magazines and books. I think it's the satisfaction of flipping through pages, comparing recipes and making notes in the margins.

Also, I have tried to add functions to a website using AI assiatance. The added value is debtabale as they required tweaking anyway, with no user group to fall back on just in case.

I was looking at my tax returns as a PDF and was prompted to ask AI to summarize the document. Apart from the fact that I'm wary of its conclusions, do I relaly want to send such sensitive information to... someone somewhere.

Love the example, but I wouldn't say most die BECAUSE they try too hard.... It's despite the fact they are trying hard. Nonetheless, a great reminder to stand out in a world of (at the time) sameness and (now) insincere slop.

I've tried some of the AI-asssisted web builders. They require a lot of tinkering, and so are not as easy as they claim.
