My prediction: Most Dems will do all of that but a few at the top won’t and that’s what’ll get all the attention. GOP will wave immigrants/DEI/trans people/whatever new boogeyman in front of their voters and they’ll take the bait but claim it’s about the economy and ‘Dems will make it worse’

My concern is that his constituents are all fired up NOW, but when election time comes they’ll jangle immigrants/trans people/DEI/whatever new boogeyman and those people will forget about everything else

Major issue is the right wing billionaires all own the media outlets. Elon literally admitted to suppressing Democratic tweets during the campaign. Legacy media all downplayed Dem accomplishments (if they talked about them at all) but were real quick to sane-wash Trump and GOP antics

70s but only by a smidge. 80s has a pretty elite run… Prince, MJ and Stevie’s arguable peaks, yacht rock, hip hop and R&B before execs exploited it, jazz fusion wasn’t so niche, rock in general was quite diverse, etc. Funk was peak in the 70s tho giving it the edge

This is great. As much as I love to see the calls for AOC/Crockett/etc to run for higher office they can have an ENORMOUS impact in the House. Besides, we need people like them where the laws are actually written

Love Jasmine Crockett (and AOC too) but we need strong leaders like them in the House of Representatives where they can be influential on actual legislation

I think that might be the core of the problem. Biden for example could tweet out everyday and hold press conferences and all that… but how do you get Fox/Rogan/CNN/etc to cover it? How do you get Elon to not suppress the tweets like he did the Harris campaign?
