On this date in 1989, the remote mountain town of Kinghead, Arizona, was terrorized by Jack Payne, a recently retired heavy Winter Service Vehicle driver who seemed to be suffering a psychotic break.

Payne used his WSV to damage and destroy homes and public property during his attack.

Though the Silver Turtle Cartel is the world’s fourth largest transnational criminal organization, precious little is known about its origins.

Javier Vulcan was thought to be a founder, though this was doubted after his spectacularly disrespectful murder at the hands of the cartel itself.

This is the stairwell in #Chicago Grand Central Station where I once had to stop a runaway baby carriage while in a shootout with some gangsters and though I was outnumbered, my partner came through and tossed me a piece at the last possible second to bring it all to an end. It was SO cinematic.

What’s with the T-Rex in the Batcave?

Every summer solstice, the major street gangs of Phoenix and Tucson, Arizona, send their best fighters into the desert for a drug-fueled hand-to-hand battle that determines control of narcotics corridors for the year.
