It canonically takes place after Rift Apart, but it is NOT directly connected to that game's story. The playable characters are digital avatars of legends from the past that pre-date Ratchet. It all takes place in a simulation.

Rescue Mission

Sure. From my experience much of the networking/catching up happens after the show, so I didn't feel like I missed much. And lucky me I guess, I was able to get there an hour early and still make it work lol

Discovered "Retro Sours" today and was transported by in time. Glorious.

The caveats for me: better image quality overall, but I did experience a few frequent dropouts and connection dips.

Switching from a 5GHz wi-fi to 2.4GHz wi-fi improved results almost immediately, with only a couple drops and dips in the three-ish hours I tested last night.

I tested Sonic Superstars, Doom Eternal, LEGO 2K Drive, and a couple others last night. Works well enough. I still wouldn't rely on it for multiplayer games that demand twitchy reaction times, but I could make it work for singleplayer games.

I mean, you're watching trailers on the big screens for 90 percent of the show. They're fine for this occasion.

lol I just went as a "seat filler" last year, free of charge. Didn't have to do a thing. I ain't paying all that.
