🎉 Excited to announce that I'm joining VoidZero as DevRel!

As I was following the project from early on, I couldn't say no to the chance when @evanyou.me reached out.

I can't wait to share all the incredible things lined up for @rolldown.rs, OXC, @vite.dev, and @vitest.dev 👀

Not at all 😛
Just being a bit cheeky here 👀

Seen @viteconf.org (community night!)

Is that @thealexlichter.com rocking the Vite Panel Discussion at Funda with a @tresjs.org shirt?

How can I not love this guy? 😊 supporting small dev communities.

Finally, we got PHP in JavaScript! 👀
pi0.io
Coolest part: LLMs understood the syntax instantly! No explanation needed; most completions were single-shot correct.

Turns out, using familiar patterns (PHP-like + Web API) really pays off.

Introducing Rendu: JavaScript Hypertext Preprocessor

Not just a template engine — Rendu bridges SPA and SSR using modern Web APIs with multi-streaming and async support.

In terms of riskiness: Yes, but that's the pain "we" (as maintainers) have to suffer through, not the end user.

You sir have too many projects 😛

(JK, sincere mistake!)

He already had Biome in the codebase and ripped it out before 🙈

So, maybe it is time for Oxlint now 👀

Did you give Oxlint a try by any chance? Especially with the (experimental) type-aware linting being available now, that could be interesting 🤔

I know someone will have 😏

Framer needed better chunking to speed up their customers' large websites. They partnered with us to integrate @rolldown.rs and fine-tune its `advancedChunks` feature

The Result: @framer.com reduced the LCP by a massive 41% for bigger websites!

The world depends on Open Source software

After joining the @opensourcepledge.com last year, we are increasing our annual commitment to $48,360 for 2025.

Take a look at our full 2025 report on which vital projects we're sponsoring and how the money is distributed.

On that note, this part from the @angular.dev source code could be interesting!

Yeah, a simple "ESM-only" major bump is what I've seen often and what should be less tricky (compared to migrating with more breaking changes).
thealexlichter.com
Fair. On the other hand, you are not responsible for how users use your lib.

Major version + moving to ESM only seems like a fair point if it reduces burden on your end (and eventually also moves users towards ESM-only setups!)
thealexlichter.com
Have you had the chance to try out @vitest.dev?
thealexlichter.com
Appreciate the heads-up but this was more meant as: I don't know why this even is a question nowadays 😛
ESM ftw.

We are alarmed as well. If you are in Germany, write to your representatives. You'll find the email addresses here: 👉 tuta.com/blog/chat-co...
Signalapp on X: We are alarmed by reports that Germany is on the verge of a
catastrophic about-face, reversing its longstanding and principled
opposition to the EU’s Chat Control proposal which, if passed, could
