It’s not a book I would have picked up. It was nice to step out of my preferred genre. Totally a heartwarming/ feel good novel

My aunt is the “we can do it” feminist. Look beautiful but be able to change a tire. So when I see a lot of feminists just complaining, I put them in a different category.

It was ok. I felt at points it was gross for the sake of being gross, and it took away from the plot. The ending I didn’t like, but it’s a spoiler if I explained why. But I can see where folks like it.

It’s common in other countries to say the equivalent of “excuse me.” Which is what my husband and I do. Makes sense. English speakers don’t say “bless you” when someone else farts or burps.
