I finally got pointed in the right direction. Would love to see physicians look into the connective tissue possibility earlier in the diagnostic process. It takes much too long to get any helpful answers.

I do think the diagnostic criteria for hEDS could use another rewrite. While I had a Beighton score of 7/9 at diagnosis, it was definitely the confusing set of signs and symptoms that had me seeking diagnosis in the first place, but when an occupational therapist described me as hypermobile, (cont.)
