In a Flemish folktale, a man mocked a witch even though the witch had told him that he should leave those alone who leave you alone. When he walked home, a screaming cat jumped in front of him. The cat vanished and appeared again, and again. Apparently, he arrived home more dead than alive.

The very attractive Rosemary Leaf Beetle has become established in the UK over the last 30 years. Despite having the scientific name of Chrysolina Americana it is actually a native of southern Europe. Fairly widespread in Cheshire.
