Well LMFAO met the technical requirement for what that act needed to do - which wasn’t exactly technical singing but mostly looking a certain way - so a bit like acting

This is the situation - and it doesn’t actually matter very often because for most roles in most dramatic presentations, the requirements on the actor are just very low, despite what actors think

Oh that’s very obvious
There are far more technical barriers & requirements to music than acting and many more objective criteria that even laymen can apply (singing out of tune is obvious to anyone’s ears)

Totally but it’s revealing that Dan Snow just owns up to it all, to his credit, while Winslet & many actors don’t
I suspect something that’s in play is that actors believe their “craft” is pure artistry driven by individual genius whereas non-fiction presenters & journalists are more realistic

When exactly did Blair rule out acting on the recommendations? Certainly the September 2000 fuel strikes & how they led into a panic about losing the GE felt material too.
