Interesting to listen to, whether I agree or disagree.

I've yet to sit down and really think of this as being a revival of Play For Today, more just stuff with "Play For Today" slapped on it, but your suggestion of a second watch is intriguing...

Thanks to @allbritishcomedy.bsky.social for some credited research from their Ben Elton podcast.

Oddly enough you've listed ones I haven't seen. I've seen just shy of 100 episodes, but that still leaves a lot.

I just watched The Right Prospectus, which was.. interesting... I think.

Those CBC ones would be okay with a group pool, but of course they're personally coded so they can't be shared.

I haven't... worth a look?

Same. I haven't seen all of PFT, but there's less than a handful I've seen so far that I would say are below par.

I'm currently looking at S1. The two episodes brought over from Canada were wiped by the BBC as you probably now, but CBC still has copies. Sadly, they told me it'd cost $600 plus VAT.

Yeah, I was tempted to open it up a bit more and look at contemporary reviews, etc., but decided it was best just to say it was (sadly) missing and move on.

Thanks for reading, I enjoy watching the show and will watch more.

I bet Mickey Mouse takes offence at it.

Do you mind if I link to this on a Young Ones article I've got coming up?

I guess the nearest we can see this angle in other episodes is in Summer Holiday:
