Chris Zukowski published this chart in one of his recent blogs. It helped me really conceptualize how hard games are to get done. Our current model is small games, with deep gameplay loops -- and whacky mechanics. Make smaller games and MORE GAMES DEVS!

1 Week Update!! 🙌 Really enjoying the Godot engine, I made the right decision to move to it. I also picked up Blender for the first time which is amazing!

I guess this is the official start of my next game 😆

My plan is to spend 6-9 months at a time creating small polished games. I'll learn faster, and I think it'll give me a better chance of actually making something that people like. Y'know, spaghetti against the wall or whatever.

Someone suggested something similar where I use a neighbouring country (all neighbouring countries are allowed) and I think the logistics of that are much simpler, so I'll research that route

I planned on releasing my game on steam and joining the steam next fest but unfortunately, my country (Nigeria) isn't supported under the steam partner program.

I've spent the last 24 hours sulking about it. I guess I'll delay till I find a solution. 😞
