JADE’s entire debut album is just outstanding, but this track is especially fire for me. The melodies and production make it a beautiful companion to “Plastic Box,” in that both tracks evoke a melancholic vibe while also being major pop earworms.

I always forget how much this song is a massive favorite until it hits on a V2.0 revisit. The performance, songwriting, and production are as impressive now as they were 25+ years ago. Never fails to transport me back to a time in the '90s I always fondly remember.

Julia Michaels always delivers a pleasant surprise, and I mean that in the best way. Beyond her massive songwriting career, she remains an underrated pop artist in her own right. This release, and this particular track, are yet another vibe and a half.
