78M is just 23% of our population. Lots of people have reasons they didn't, couldn't, or aren't eligible to vote. I wish more had, and we weren't here, but that ship sailed. Now we have to fight back and unite with those folks at least. We can't just walk away or condemn vast swaths to suffer. (3/x)

I'm a veteran who works with several progressive veterans groups representing millions. We aren't a monolith. If your answer to things is "well it's what they wanted" we're never going to stop the worst actions coming or take this country back. Most people didn't vote for Trump. Yes, really. (2/x)

Just do me a favor. Before you say "veterans all voted for Trump so fuck them" or something similar keep in mind that if you're a white woman or Gen X white man we could say the same. Second, there are 100 VA rest homes caring for thousands of elderly vets. They didn't vote for him either. (1/X)
