Major banks provide Jeffrey Epstein documents to House Oversight Committee.
Democrats on the panel said they intend to release the records from JPMorgan Chase and Deutsche Bank in the coming days. The House Oversight Committee has received new materials from major financial institutions as part of its investigation into the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. The files from JPMorgan Chase and Deutsche Bank have not yet been publicly released, though Democrats on the panel say they expect to release them in the coming days after a review. These documents are separate from the federal law enforcement records Congress voted to make public last month; the Justice Department is required to make those materials public later this month. “[House Oversight Democrats] intend to release files to the public in the days ahead,” said Rep. Robert Garcia, the top Democrat on the panel, in a post on X. A spokesperson for the committee’s Republican majority confirmed the receipt of the materials. The committee also received materials from the government of the U.S. Virgin Islands, where Epstein owned his infamous private compound. Democrats publicly posted videos and photos of the private island from this tranche Wednesday. Meanwhile, a bipartisan coalition of lawmakers asked Wednesday for a meeting with Justice Department personnel to ascertain what information is in its possession and is subject to release. Reps. Ro Khanna (D-Calif.) and Thomas Massie (R-Kt.) and Sens. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska), Ben Ray Lujan (D-N.M.) and Jeff Merkley (D-Ore.) told Attorney General Pam Bondi in a letter that that they are “particularly focused on understanding the contents of any new evidence, information or procedural hurdles that could interfere with the Department’s ability meet this statutory deadline.” The lawmakers, who were the lead sponsors of the Epstein files legislation, asked for a briefing no later than Friday and urged the DOJ to coordinate with the lawyers for Epstein’s accusers. The Justice Department did not immediately return a request for comment. He's proven that he can't be held accountable. Dems are too slow and toothless, his own party is terrified of him, and SCOTUS gives him a pass.

Why wouldn't he just crime in the open? There are no repercussions.
Did the White House just admit to market manipulation?

I think the Supreme Court got the law badly wrong tonight. But beyond that, it’s just incredibly ominous that Roberts would throw Boasberg under the bus and hand Trump this big win when his administration has conducted this case in EXTREME bad faith from the start. slate.com/news-and-pol...
