Yes, yes, we know we're not morning people, but some opportunities should not be passed either.
The sunrise from the Clontarf promenade on the 10th December 2025 at 08:33. The sun has just completed it's breach from the horizon, but is obscured slightly by some cloud. The sky is a little orange from the refracted light of the sun. I attempted to place the sun directly in between the two lighthouses in Dublin Bay (one at the end of the North Bull Wall and the other at the end of the South Wall, mostly succeeding.

View of Dublin this evening from Dollymount Strand.
A view of the Dublin skyline looking south along Dollymount Strand. Taken at about 7pm local time on the 14th October, the sun is set about half-an-hour, and the sky is a deep orange. There is a small amount of cloud cover over the view (probably further south than the city). We can see the pair of chimneys from the old Ringsend power station that is nearly 20 years non-operational. We can also see the exhaust from the Dublin Bay incinerator. It's not the most attractive skyline, really.

The graphbois from 2020 and 2021 are squinting really hard rn to see it they can declare (or deny!) that is an exponential progression.

The Y-axis is the number of seconds and the X-Axis is the date, starting on the 14th December, when there was a zero-length stretch. On the 16th it was 12 seconds long, 23 seconds on the 17th, 39 seconds on the 18th and 57 seconds today, the 19th. Each node is joined to the nodes of the previous and the next days by a straight line.
