Exciting news! Highlights of mine include;

- Zelda / Splatoon / LEGO Collabs
There’s no reason New Horizons can’t continue to receive even more content either, the Switch 2 version certainly could use a 60/120fps patch

Nintendo announced Animal Crossing: New Horizons Switch 2 Edition.

They are bringing back a significant amount of Nintendo series crossover items as well as adding new content.

What happens if you insist on leaving Lumiose City in Pokémon Z-A?
Good so far, battle system is fun, looks great on Switch 2 & looking forward to climbing the rankings, catching everything & doing the missions. Tutorial is a bit hand-holdy and though likely a skill issue, I’m still occasionally tripping over the controls battling / catching. No big things though

My iOS26 no data fix: Take the SIM card out, restart your phone, switch the Wi-Fi off when it comes back on then reinsert the SIM. Hope this helps others out, what a ridiculous problem to have following a major update!

A few weeks back I decided to return to Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition. It’s such a great time capsule of the series before the paradigm shift of Breath Of The Wild. If you enjoy the admittedly repetitive gameplay loop there’s so much to enjoy!

Looks like a decent selection was shown during the Nintendo Direct. Mario Wonder and Donkey Kong DLC are great announcements. Good to see Mario Galaxy 2 coming to Switch. Nice that Metroid has its release date.

Went to see a film today in one of Cineworld’s ScreenX theatres. An interesting gimmick, the side screens playing a low resolution, stretched edge of the main screens content. You have to look straight ahead to get the benefit which didn’t work for my nosey ass obsessing over then haha

Nintendo Partner Direct was decent, lots of solid stuff coming but nothing for me personally. I will probably pick up Persona 3 Reload down the line in an offer, here’s hoping an edition with the DLC is planned

I’m very slowly playing through Donkey Kong Bananza and it really scratches an itch being able to mash through the landscape, find all the hidden bits & bobs and enjoy the silliness that permeates the entire experience. Really great stuff 🍌

I played Zelda II finally, it was one of the few Zelda games I haven’t played. A charming and well thought out classic that’s worth an afternoon of your time. I unwittingly played the SP version so it was a tad easy haha

I finished Bayonetta 3, it’s a game with great bones but the plot choices, especially the end, really let it down. As a package there’s loads to do & it plays the best out of all of the games with so many combat choices. I really dig Viola and her parry mechanic. Worth playing but brace for the end
