A ★★★★★ review of Vampyr (1932)
Not So Silent Cinema performed their score for this film live at my screening, their dreamy, gothic score perfectly fit the beautiful imagery and slow pans.

You are only paranoid if the ectoplasm worms aren’t real. This is not really my type of horror, but I recognized when it’s well made.

I know this isn’t the point, but I think it’s hilarious that they mention all of the things he’s known for EXCEPT playing Sam in LOTR.

Also, fuck this, I want to see humans and the occasional animal act in my films not some dead eyed algorithm.
