i even sold merch! there are people who walk around wearing my face on their shirt. im never going to be rich, im never going to be famous, but all i have ever wanted is to be moderately comfortable and make things and maybe have a few people appreciate it. and i know im lucky to have those people.

but pulling that album together from concept to release in about a month was awesome, we were really firing on all cylinders. oh and for the record, i earned my keffiyeh doing work in solidarity with Palestine back in 2016. asinine when people act like this all started Oct 7th. but i digress.

my proudest achievement this year however was organizing the Synthwave For Palestine album. im notorious for taking on too much work (although ive done better since the year i founded a mutual aid group, political activism group, multiple protests and got doxxed by the KKK in the span of 3 months)..

i also put out a lot of music that im proud of, and ended the year on a release that i feel like shows my 2026 output will clearly be on another level from where i have been. i also got into a couple of music communities that seem to really value me and don't just see me as a token to be discarded.

ive still got a lot of debt to pay down, but after 20 years of being a content creator and watching all of my friends find success and make a living doing the same while i came up against roadblock after roadblock, i finally see a path forward. i guess im just a late bloomer?

hate that zone, one of the worst zones.

i don't know if they count as underappreciated but the Fire Emblem GBA games are really good. Sacred Stones is probably the best one and is a standalone game in its own universe so it's a good place to start
