I don’t want to sound overly pessimistic, but it is kind of strange how everyone seems to agree that 2024 is going to be a nightmare.

I have just bought and installed The Settlers II, a game that I haven't played for 25 years. It still holds up, and I really enjoy the tempo.

Listening to Knowledge Fight keeps me sane. I love Dan and Jordan.

Looking forward to the day when Bluesky has a strong Dungeons & Daddies community. It’s the single funniest podcast out there, and deserves worship.

I’m low-key prepping to run Dragonbane (Drakar & Demoner). I adore this game, and find it refreshing that there is no official setting: When my friends and I played it in our youth, we were perfectly content with an unnamed, generic world in which crazy stuff just happened.

So, I left Twitter. Deactivated my account, and am now waiting for it to be permanently deleted. Nobody will miss me over there, and I’m glad to be out.

So far, Bluesky feels less… insane.
