Cycling bloom scroller.
And so I go
To the water's edge
Finding worn stone steps
Knowing
That nothing will happen

Except the wonder
Hidden
In the little details of life

A lazy stream
Reflecting slumbering trees
Sunshine illuminating
The remains of the day

And this
Is always enough
It's more than enough

I cannot run, I am rooted, and the gorse hurts me
With its yellow purses, its spiky armoury.
I could not run without having to run forever.

Hello, you'd think so with the grandeur. It's actually an entrance to the Botanical Gardens in Sheffield.... a fab place for a moment or two of tranquility in the busy city.

You have to be brave or brilliant to tackle this subject. Clearly O'Farrell is both in this wonderfully woven tale exploring love, life and loss.
The dreamlike delicacy of the prose brought an enchanted beauty to counterpose the book's most harrowing moments.

Now that combo is so good I'm surprised it's not illegal😃

That sounds epic in very Spanish hedonistic style. They sure know how to party.... in a borderline nocturnal kinda way!

It was a bit rainy for street dining. But managed a horchata and farton- mainly because I still giggle at such things!
