I just wanna play games, I just wanna watch anime

Hell, I just wanna enjoy entertainment in general. Is that so wrong? Apparently to most of the internet, it is.

One more thing actually, the fact that for 3 years all I hear is that "every triple a game is bad and indie games are the best" has made me extremely alienated (is that the word? is that even a word?) from the video game industry since everytime i want to check a game out I'm told "Bro, it's bad"

Anyway, that's most of my unusual rambling (unusual for social media, not unusual for my friend groups lol)

Go play Expedition 33 if you haven't, as someone who wasn't that interested in it when I first saw it; it is REALLY good.

This doesn't extend to just video games however, animation also suffers the same issue which is why I specified "entertainment in general" in post 1

Anime "fans" want everything to be solo leveling animation while the actual fans are enjoying everything they watch (mostly)

So, I'll say this as a non Expedition 33 fan, the game looks fucking amazing, the story from what I've seen (which is mostly the intro) is fucking amazing. the gameplay is literally persona 5, you can't fuck up persona 5. and, the voice acting is phenomenal (to be expected of triple a games)

I find it very hard to find people who are as passionate of entertainment as much as I am nowadays, almost every person I see is either calling everything ai slop (even if it isn't ai slop) or "the worst thing ever concieved"
