See I have a comprehension issue, so I read and will listen to the audiobook at the same time....around 2x to 2.5x speed. I get way more understanding of the story doing both. The talisman is a favorite but not a lot of people talk about it unless they just mention it briefly.

That's about when I read that book. I did Shirley Jackson, m.r. James and Henry James before I do Ed I to the world of King. I also had David Copperfield read when I was 10. I wasn't hindered very much when I was a kid. Love me some classics.

There's a lot of different lists on how to read dark tower. This one seemed the best for me. Other lists has other books (It) but since I was reading in pub order I knew I was going to read IT shortly after I finished all those so I didn't bother adding it to that list.

It's a fun ride for sure. This was the way I read the DT series.i did read Salem's Lot prior since I'm going in release order. I also read the 1990 uncut Stand instead of the 1978-79 original. This was a fun journey though.
