We have lost the ability to be empathetic with each other and it is killing us. The billionaires are using it against us. They're sad little boys who weren't hugged enough by their dads. Don't let them win.

And this isn't me being like "no we gotta make peace with them" either. No, they should be mocked and shamed mercilessly. They should be made to feel pain. And I mean that in a constructive way. They should be made to feel the kind of pain that builds empathy.

Some alternatives: shopping locally/regionally, shopping small, bartering with neighbors, shopping secondhand, joining and participating in a buy nothing group and/or sale. Learning to repair rather than buy new. Y'all, mindless consumerism got us here. We have the power to get ourselves out!

Like, I know it hurts. Trust me I know. I know "no ethical consumption under capitalism" blah blah blah. I'm saying FOCUS ON WHAT U CAN CONTROL. Make better choices. I can't control what Elon and Trump do. I can control my pennies getting hoovered to fund their machine. We are at war, act like it.
