We were an early adopter for solar and receive FITs payments. I get paid for each kWh we generate, regardless of whether we use it or export it. The rate we get is higher than market export rates. I get no benefit from anything we export, I'm better off storing it and using it later.

Are you all sitting around in your undies? Can't imagine being that hot in the winter, it's bad enough in the summer. My wife gets tetchy the moment it goes over 18C.
