It's less "I refuse to go to the US bc of Trump" and more "The US seems bad right now, let's go somewhere else." The US is just less attractive a destination now

I like that their argument is that duplexes would cause congestion when fleeing from fires, as if the status quo was everyone easily driving away with no traffic or backups.

Also being conscripted is not a get out of jail free card. Sometimes the moral thing to do is die and I can judge you for choosing to kill instead.
