We never really ‘survived’ the flu pandemic because we emerged as something completely different. People didn’t come to grips with the 100 years ago and it left us woefully unprepared to understand the cultural response to covid and its sequelae.

And this price hike is coming at a time when NPS visits have declined because of a decline in visits overall from overseas - nobody wants to come here and risk being detained. Fascism isn't a selling point for tourism
