Hardcore VN fans probably already have this understanding of gameplay passivity cemented in their mind when they go in. But for me I'm more of an rpg and action game girly. I go into video games expecting gameplay, when that requirement for a video game isn't met I'm bored.

You might say, what's the difference between a VN and a book. Nothing really, but for me when I want to play a video game I want to be an active participate in that game - even if its a linear narrative - not just clicking next until I hit an illusion of choice narrative moment...

On a more positive note - this is a great series. I had an ARC of the first volume and wanted to take advantage of the Black Friday sales to catch up on the rest of the series out so far, however, I'll just wait a couple more months and get it from a local distributor instead.

Transitioning from a corporate tool to a functioning "human" with desires and goals similar to those of their human counterparts, they work together, yet also differ. If you've got any recs for comics and books like that - especially queer books and comics - I'd love for you to send them my way.
