I got a new cat currently named Lilith nine days ago. She finally let me watch out in the open cleaning herself 🐈. Orange and white. She's been waiting for a year.

Since Trump wants to misname the Gulf of Mexico to be the Gulf of America, why not change the name of Massachusetts' Cape Cod Bay to be Gulf of Gays? After all, Provincetown is known as one of the biggest lesbian friendly towns in the US.

Some people keep saying "eat the rich." But I am lately reminded of rich people (seriously rich) who do good things, such as Bill Gates, Melinda Gates, or Ruth Gottesman (see image). I know this is like "not all men," but I think it's important to acknowledge some generous people.

Well, tomorrow is the day. My previous breeder got in touch w/Pippa's breeder, & tomorrow I'll drive the 3-4 hours to the place in Vermont to return Pippa. I will miss her. 😭
I do have to be careful, though, as I nearly killed both of us driving the additional 4 hours home after dark when I got her
The closest I ever got Tabitha the cat and Pippa the puppy together. I was zonked from a bad cold that I've had all week and I finally let Pippa be on the bed with me while we all slept. Unfortunately, Pippa peed on the sheets while I was sleeping. I should have had her in her crate and did so after that. One of my favorite pictures of Pippa the Golden retriever puppy. She looks so mischievous with just one eye looking at the camera. Her top ear is flopped back. She is wearing her pink and black harness, which looks very nice on her all white fur. I will really miss this dog. I just wish she had been a healthy puppy instead of having three congenital heart defects.

Still have the puppy. Despite the three congenital heart problems, she continues to be adorable, and a pain, all at the same time. Just like a normal puppy. She is 11 weeks old now. Pippa. Watch video.

I got a beautiful Golden Retriever puppy. Then found she has a heart murmur. Today I took her to a veterinary cardiologist; found out that she has 3 defects in her heart. Currently the problem is mild, but it could turn into a $7000 a year problem. I can't possibly afford that. Taking her back. 😭
Pippa the golden retriever puppy at around eight weeks old. She is white with a tan streak from her forehead to her nose. She is on a medium size gray dog bed while chewing on a puppy Kong that is blue, which is on top of a yellow and duck toy that sounds like crispy leaves. Pippa at nine weeks old, lying on her left side on khaki dog blanket. She has her right arm extended in front of her nose and her right ear is inside out while she looks at the camera with one silly eye.

With her coloring, and the fact that she is incredibly shy of strangers or people, she doesn't know extremely well, I call her "the invisible cat." I just bought an iPhone 14, and when I looked into the puppy booster seat, I just saw black. But when I took a photo…
You can actually see my cat! I have a reflective collar on her. And you can see the little bits of orange mixed in with the black fur that she has. Now, she's not shy of me, and snuggles with me every night. But when she's in this, or in her cat tree, all I see with just my eyes is black. Perfect camouflage. I am so impressed with how the iPhone 14's camera adjusted to be able to see her! I just basically pointed and clicked. The cat, Tabitha, is 17 years old and I've had her since I trapped her and her family in the wild at seven weeks old.

I'm buying lots of puppy stuff because I'm supposed to get one this weekend. So I put the new booster seat for the car on my bed. I turn around for about one minute and when I turn back, this is what I see. I guess it's cat approved.
