For these men, their faux masculinity is a maladaptive neurodivergent imitation of what their brains think masculinity is — an observation-based perception of social behaviors.

After carefully watching the antics of Musk, Zuck, Kanye & my ex, I no longer believe that toxic masculinity exists — I think it’s a *TOXIC EXPRESSION* of ✨FAUX MASCULINITY✨.

And it’s because they’re all neurodivergent, too — they’ve made it obvious for me, because I too am ADHD and autistic. 🥰

I also think the ‘toxic’ term has led to confusion — people (mostly men) assume that we’re labeling all masculinity as toxic. I think ‘faux masculinity’ is just more appropriate as it describes the full scope of the issue far more clearly, like calling a rubber snake ‘fake’.

The term ‘toxic masculinity’ leaves little room for repair of that person’s inner wounds or even any future harm reduction for them or other people, because we’ve already branded them as ‘toxic’.

That doesn’t help or solve or heal anyone or anything, nor does it bridge the rifts built.

Faux masculinity also isn’t ALWAYS toxic — it’s an individual choice, in fact, and can faux masculinity can be healed.

‘Toxic masculinity’ is straight-up damnation: it’s both judgment and sentence of an individual who is hurting and acting out in an attempt to solve their inner conflict.

This shit is so weird, man — like, when reading history, I always thought these idiots would be scarier or smarter or whatever… or even an equal match. But now I realize that the Nazis came into power simply because they took it and understood chaos + mayhem.
