Out of interest, what language did you use to write this?

Did I imagine it or did Pete just refer to four candles? Or did he say fork handles?

Unfortunately, having followed this mob since the mid 1960s I'd have to say yes.

He should be playing in the Championship. Hopefully he can do that with us #LOFC

He really does hate everybody, doesn't he? I

have never witnessed a person with so little soul.

He must be a very lonely old man.

For the longest time when we met (many years ago), my wife, who is French, kept saying "All over suddenly", instead of "All of a sudden)

To be honest, all the teams in League One are average. Any team can beat any other team. #iloveacliché

DOH! As a Leyton Orient supporter living 10 minutes away from Chalky Lane in Chessington I'm disappointed to hear about this decision

Thanks. It always gives me a warm, fuzzy feeling when I see O's photos from 1964-1967.

I left Leyton as a 10-year-old in 1967 but still support the O's. Is that the old North terrace in the background with Slade Tower in the distance?

I spent much of my childhood messing about in the lifts in Slade Tower.

One of the benefits of me being retired from programming is that I can read and enjoy a post like this and not have to be slightly worried that I have not much idea of what you are talking about.

(and I mean that in the nicest way, I enjoy your posts) 👍

I go as a neutral to local Non-League matches now. Last week I was at Leatherhead vs Hampton & Richmond.

It is a completely stress-free experience.

I can't imagine visiting Brisbane Road any time soon.
