Richard Linklater continues to amaze as he directed not one but two of my favorite movies of the year. The only change I would have made is I would have swapped which I saw in the theater (Blue Moon) and which I streamed at home.

Just finished up the second season of Poker Face and watching Jason Ritter, while he definitely has characteristics of his father, I was taken with how much he reminds me of another late, great actor, Bill Paxton.

A lot of insight to be gained from the interviews conducted by Peter Bogdanovich in 'Who the Devil Made It?' one takeaway is I've missed out on seeing any Joseph Lewis's films. A Plex subscription(!) later, rectifying. N

Pretty sad as I should be getting excited for the return of @arsenalfc.bsky.social that the cloud over a subsection of 'supporters' upset at bringing in Madueke and the handling of EVERYTHING Partey-related by the club has darkened that outlook considerably.
